A Little About Us

Locally owned since 1986, Surf Connection is Lompoc's one stop full service surf and skate shop. We offer a full range of surf and skate hardgoods as well as the latest in fashion and footwear for guys, gals, and groms.

An active community participant, Surf Connection supports a variety of youth activities through the schools (Post Prom-LHS and CHS, Big Game Post Game Party, Madrigals, Montessori drama productions and many more) and recreational sport leagues (Lompoc Little League, AYSO, Babe Ruth, Lompoc Youth Football, Girls Softball, Boys & Girls Club Basketball, Cabrillo Youth Basketball) through monetary and in-kind donations throughout the year. We have also partnered with the Lompoc Valley Association of Realtor's for over 10 years in support of the "Shoes for Students" program providing shoes for local students in need.

In 1998 Surf Connection joined the Youth Commission in addressing the need of a skate park in the community. After working with the skateboarders in the community in conjunction with the Youth Commission and raising seed money for the park, the skate park became a reality and opened in May of 2000 as a city park. Now skateboard competitions are held semi-annually for the skateboarders in the valley, hosted by Lompoc Parks and Recreation in coordination with Surf Connection. In February of 2009 Surf Connection was recognized by Lompoc Parks and Recreation with the Lompoc Community Service award.

It is not just the youth Surf Connection supports but many different civic organizations within the community as well. The Lompoc Public Library, Valley Haven, Lompoc Hospital, Lompoc Flower Festival, YMCA, Repair Huyck Stadium and Lompoc Fourth of July celebration are just a few of the organizations and events Surf Connection supports.
